Apparel Export Promotion Councils (AEPC) Chairman’s Initiatives


Dr A Sakthivel, Chairman, AEPC vide letter dated May 3rd, 2012 submitted cost data for the All Industry Duty Drawback Rates for the year 2012-13. With this letter, AEPC has requested for the rate of 10.27%, 11.21% & 12.53% respectively for Cotton, Blend & MMF as against 7.10%, 8.20% & 9.10%. Chairman, AEPC has also requested for the simplification of the Drawback Schedule from 201 tariff items to only 3 tariff items.
